Welcome to BujaShuttle. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Definitions

"Service" refers to BujaShuttle's transportation and concierge services
"User" refers to any person who uses our services
"Website" refers to www.bujumburashuttle.com and related domains

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancelling

All bookings are subject to availability
Cancel more than 24 hours before your pickup time and you receive a full refund, no questions asked.
Cancel within 24 hours of pickup and we refund 50% of the fare, because the vehicle and driver are already committed.
If you do not appear at the agreed pickup point and we cannot reach you by phone or WhatsApp within 30 minutes, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refunded.
To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference.

Flight delays and cancellations

Flight delays are never treated as a late cancellation. We track the flight number you give us and adjust the pickup time at no extra cost.
If your flight is cancelled outright, we refund the airport transfer in full whenever you tell us.

Punctuality promise

For airport pickups we aim to be at the arrivals hall before you clear customs. For all other pickups we aim to be at the agreed point at the agreed time.
If our driver arrives more than 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time for reasons within our control, we refund 50% of the fare for that leg.
Delays caused by weather, road closures, security incidents or by the passenger are outside our control and are not covered by this remedy.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to the card used for payment and normally arrive within 5-10 business days.

Payment Terms

All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
All bookings must be paid online through Stripe before they are confirmed. We never receive or store your card details.
Quoted fares are fixed. Additional charges apply only to services you add yourself at the time of booking.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Provide accurate information when booking
Comply with local laws and regulations
Treat staff and property with respect
Maintain appropriate behavior during service
Pay for any damages caused

Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue services without notice
Refuse service to anyone
Change prices and terms
Cancel bookings for safety or policy violations

Liability and Insurance

Our liability coverage includes:

Commercial vehicle insurance
Passenger liability coverage
Property damage protection
Professional liability insurance

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and app, including logos, text, images, and software, is our property and protected by copyright laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:

Direct negotiation
Mediation if necessary
Arbitration as a last resort
Jurisdiction of Burundi courts

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be notified via email or through our website.
